This is Brandi! Now that her beautiful wedding is over, I can finally post her bridals! We went to my secret garden spot and the flowers were really putting on a show of color. It was so hard choosing just a handful to post here because I have a lot of favorites from her session.

My daughter and future son!

This is a shoot I’ve been nervous about for many years now. This is my youngest daughter and she’ll be married to this awesome guy in less than a month. Mike and Ariel are the best of friends and to see my little girl so happy and in love helps me remember that this is what I’ve always wanted for her. To find someone who will love her and treat her like the treasure she is. Mike has been calling me Mom since their engagement. I’m not sure he realizes it, but that has helped me remember that I’m really not losing a daughter, but gaining a son. Something I’ve never had before! For their shoot, we drove down to the big city of Salt Lake and went to Liberty Park, Gateway Plaza, and the streets of downtown after dark. There are some others from a dance the next night, and from Antelope Island another day. Yeah, their engagement shoot was quite the trip and a lot of fun.

Kami and Dan

This shoot was SOOO much fun! I had never been to this golf course before, because I’m not a golfer AND I didn’t know how to get there. I had seen it from the bridge, but that’s it. Kami and Dan are avid golfers and will be having their wedding at this golf course and wanted their engagement pictures taken there as well. It was a scary drive down the canyon with all kinds of warning and danger signs, but I have never seen a more beautiful golf course! The scary drive was worth it. And these two knew all the best places. So I hung on the back of the golf cart as we flew up and down hills and dodged golfers. Kami and Dan smile and laugh so easily and they really have a magic between them. I totally enjoyed this shoot and can’t wait for their wedding!

Fireworks!

I love this country I live in and also this wonderful community out in the middle of the potato and grain fields of Idaho. There is a family out here that puts on the most awesome fireworks display every 4th of July that beats anything I’ve ever seen in the cities. Great music, food, friends, a patriotic spirit, and spectacular fireworks! I took my camera gear along this year and had a lot of fun shooting the display in the crystal clear night sky.
