Michael and Terina’s Wedding

July 28th, 2010 by Cindy
Category - Weddings

I just loved this wedding! Everything went perfectly, even the stormy skies parted and smiled on this wedding! Seriously, the rain stopped and the sun came out just minutes before we needed to start pictures and their outdoor ceremony was to begin. Michael and Terina are such a cute couple and their friends and family are just the nicest people you could ever meet :)

Their reception was held at the Burley Inn and Convention Center and was so beautiful. Thomas Arroyo from D.J. Rage was great and everyone had so much fun. Check out the slideshow at the end of this post to see more of Michael and Terina’s wedding story.

See more of their wonderful wedding story in their slideshow below!

Photography Playdate

Natural light is a wonderful thing, and it is a fun challenge to find beautiful light and make good use of it. But me and a local photographer friend of mine, Abrey Adams Watterson, wanted to shoot with our studio lights and overpower the harsh midday sunlight we usually try to avoid. We also wanted to stop motion in full shade. And . . . we wanted to have amazing light for both of these challenging conditions. We used up to 3 studio strobes (AB800′s) plugged into a portable power pack, and fired them with pocket wizards. We had two wonderful models- Kyra and Teagan – and a lot of fun :)

Mathis Harman married the lovely Meagan Jolley in SLC, Utah about a week after their open house here in Idaho. I just love the Harman family and have missed them since they’ve all moved away, so it was wonderful to see them again :) Congratulations Mathis and Meagan!

Idaho Paint the State Commercial

July 9th, 2010 by Cindy
Category - Personal

My 14 year old nephew made this commercial for his entry in the Paint the State competition. It is really amazing! And it doesn’t contain the disturbing content that most anti-meth ads do. It shows how wonderful life is, but can be blown away by meth. Honestly though, life is so beautiful and fragile that ANY addictive drug can destroy it. Not just meth. It’s heart breaking to hear of people getting caught in this dangerous trap that destroys so many lives. Share this video – not only because it will help my nephew with his competition – but because it might influence someone to be strong and avoid making the mistake of trying meth. Just click on the YouTube icon in the lower right corner to be taken to the YouTube site for their “share” option, or use the ones below this post. Thank you!
