Cowgirls in the country! That was me and Courtney this day. It was nice to have a reason to pull out my old chaps and spurs, and dust off my old saddle. Then I finished the pics on the computer listening to classic cowboy music on Pandora, like Sons of the Pioneers and Marty Robbins. Perfect! We ended up with so many keepers that I put them to music and uploaded the show to YouTube. It’s posted down below at the end of this post. Check back soon, because we did TWO shoots this day! After this one, we went into the studio for a completely different look

This was actually done the same day we created “Flying Dreams“. She had worn this cute coat and we both thought it would be fun to get some studio shots with her wearing it. Cait’s fun to shoot with anyway, but adding in the fun of the model launcher was a blast

When my daughter, Ariel, and my grandson Atlas were here visiting, we did a session I’d been thinking about. Mom’s photographing their kids! This particular mother has been modeling for me her whole life, and now her son is doing the same for her and his grandma! Yes, Ariel is a professional photographer too (arieliona.com), and it’s looking like Atlas also has an interest

This is the beautiful Jordyn who was also my flour dancer featured in a previous post. The day was perfect and we soaked up the sunshine in the lush fields around my house. Looking at these pictures makes me want to go outdoors and soak up some more of that summer sun
