Photography Playdate

July 23rd, 2010 by Cindy

Natural light is a wonderful thing, and it is a fun challenge to find beautiful light and make good use of it. But me and a local photographer friend of mine, Abrey Adams Watterson, wanted to shoot with our studio lights and overpower the harsh midday sunlight we usually try to avoid. We also wanted to stop motion in full shade. And . . . we wanted to have amazing light for both of these challenging conditions. We used up to 3 studio strobes (AB800′s) plugged into a portable power pack, and fired them with pocket wizards. We had two wonderful models- Kyra and Teagan – and a lot of fun :)
