Alice Schenk is one of those amazing people that inspire everyone they meet. She challenges herself as a way of life! She’s an athlete and competes in the grueling Iron Man Triathlons and finishes them with a smile. She climbs scary mountains like Idaho’s Mt. Borah, and lives to tell about it. Not only is she a great role model, but I knew she’d be an excellent stock model! These were taken last fall and have already been licensed multiple times. She has been spotted in SkyMall in their magazine AND online advertising. Keep an eye out for her, because I know she’s popular!

Found another session I never blogged. This one will make you ache for nice weather! I was actually hoping that the water would be low at the park for some beach stuff, but this worked out much better since I had a model that was up for anything! Not only was she willing to go for a swim, but we also climbed up a huge hill of giant rocks for some cool silhouettes. Yes, Vanessa is a competition bodybuilder and personal trainer. I’ve posted other sessions I’ve shot with her, just do a search for her name on my site here. She’s amazing!!!

This was something different for me – shooting the Flex Fitness Bodybuilding and Figure Competition at the Roper Auditorium in Twin Falls. LONG day, but fun, interesting, and inspiring. I also set up my studio gear and shot portraits of some of the competitors. Check out the following videos, but be forewarned, you might be inspired to do some serious working out!

Vanessa is one of my favorite brides from 2007 and it was so fun to get together with her again and do a fitness shoot. She owns the Flex Fitness Center in Jerome and is also a competition body builder. She wanted some cool portraits, and we also wanted to try out some specialized lighting and photography techniques that we’ll be offering to contestants at the 2010 Flex Fitness Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Contest her company is sponsoring this September at CSI in Twin Falls. Vanessa also brought her adorable little daughter with her who enjoyed getting some portraits taken with her mom
