And here’s a bit of fun retro! A pin up shoot with a twist – Cait wearing a burlap potato sack dress! This was inspired by a shoot Marilyn Monroe did back in the 50′s (Google It). This was a project that most everyone I mentioned it to told me I was crazy! But I still wanted to do it. It took a lot of planning and then a really big mess to clean up, but it was all worth it

Jordyn, who must be as crazy as me because she thought it sounded like a great idea, was a wonderful model and had as much fun dancing in the flour as I did shooting it! There was about 75 pounds of it to play with!

We shot the polar opposite of this theme outdoors in the summer sunshine before making this mess in the blackened studio, and they’re beautiful, too. I’m excited to show you those, and I’ll be posting them a bit later.
